First steps in internationalisation
Over 30 years training young people for the global market
Since 1980s, the Basque Government has had an internationalisation programme in place aimed at training young people in foreign trade and to arrange traineeships abroad. Over the years, the training needs have developed in parallel to how markets and the global organisations have evolved. Consequently, the internationalisation BEINT programme needs to be modified and adapted to the new realities each year.
Thousands of young people and companies have already benefitted for this programme, which has been opportunity to learn more about the reality and rules of international trade, about the Basque economic fabric and of its institutions and companies, along with gaining the skills needed to manage multisite companies, and international sales and purchases.
