The latest call for BEINT 2026 Internationalisation Grants for young university graduates from the Basque Country and under 30 years old will give you the opportunity to train in international companies and institutions. You will also have the chance to learn more about the reality and rules of international trade, about the Basque economic fabric, its institutions and companies, along with gaining the skills needed to manage multisite companies, and international sales and purchases.
Its financial award ranges between €30,000 and €80,000 depending on the destination.

Assessment tests

A maximum of 70 grants in Modality A (to complete Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the programme).
A maximum of 20 grants in Modality B (to complete Phases 1 and 3 of the programme).
Phases of the programme
Three phases lasting a total of 2 years.
The financial award ranges between €30,000 and €80,000 depending on the destination.

Goals
Training in internationalisation for young university degree holders. They will gain academic knowledge and practical experience in foreign markets. Their mobility will be promoted in collaboration with sponsoring organisations and internationalised companies.
To provide Basque companies and other entities with access to professionals that allow them to deal effectively with the challenges of the open economy. Access to new markets requires people with the necessary technical training and used to working in divergent cultural landscapes.
N.B.:
Applicants need a digital certificate in their name to complete the registration process. You should not leave your registration until the last day to avoid any possible technical problems.
First steps in internationalisation
Over 30 years training young people for the global market
Since 1980s, the Basque Government has had an internationalisation programme in place aimed at training young people in foreign trade and to arrange traineeships abroad. Over the years, the training needs have developed in parallel to how markets and the global organisations have evolved. Consequently, the internationalisation BEINT programme needs to be modified and adapted to the new realities each year.
Thousands of young people and companies have already benefitted for this programme, which has been opportunity to learn more about the reality and rules of international trade, about the Basque economic fabric and of its institutions and companies, along with gaining the skills needed to manage multisite companies, and international sales and purchases.
RAQUEL GÓMEZ SPENT A YEAR ON A TRAINEESHIP IN SHANGHAI
Raquel Gómez has a degree in Business Administration and Management and had a traineeship at a company in Shanghai thanks to a BEINT grant. This experience allowed her to learn about new cultures, build professional relationships for the future and travel.
MARÍA URIARTE HAD A TRAINEESHIP AS A CONSULTANT IN MEXICO
After a period in Bogotá, María Uriarte used her grant for a period in Mexico. She had a traineeship at an international real estate consultancy. This experience fostered her personal and professional growth, and she recommends it to everyone.
