Basque Trade & Investment participates together with Business France and the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency, AWEX, in the European project ProSME.
The ProSME project, funded by the European Agency for SMEs (EASME), was launched last July under the leadership of AWEX and in collaboration with Business France. ProSME seeks to promote the participation of Basque, French and Walloon companies in public tenders in four target markets, namely Canada, Switzerland, Colombia and Ukraine. The project, to be carried out until June 2024, includes studies on the public procurement market in each country, the mapping of institutions, clusters and key agents in public procurement, legal analysis of the different markets, assistance to companies in the bidding process, the promotion of consortia formed by companies from the different participating agencies, the creation of an information point for companies on tenders outside the EU, e-learning modules aimed at companies and the organisation of informative seminars and business missions to meet with bidders in the target countries, among others.
More and more companies are joining the Basque Country Tenders Platform each day to address multilateral projects. Companies that add value to the projects and export know how and experience in numerous sectors.
